1998 Junior Troupe Photo

We have 9 dancers in our Junior Troupe this year and they are a very enthusiastic and dedicated group. To become a member of the Junior Amethyst, a candidate must satisfy the following criteria:

1. Must audition to join the troupe;
2. Must have reached the age of 9 years by October 30th;
3. Must have attained the Silver Level in medal tests by the SDTA or BATD,
   OR must have reached the Intermediate Competition Level,
   Equivalent (attested to by dance teacher);
4. Regular participation in Highland Dance classes is strongly recommended;
5. Dancers must belong to a Highland Dancing Association.
